ETHIOPIAN GUJI - ARSOSALA - LIGHT ROAST
Ethiopia is home to over 10,000 - 20,000 coffee varietals. The most intensely flavorful coffees in the world are native to Ethiopian soil. Grown by small-holder farmers, these coffees are grown organically without harmful fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
The Guji region of Ethiopia is hailed for its amazing fruit-forward coffee. Arsosala washing station was established in 2015 and serves over 1,200 smallholder coffee farmers. The small-holder farmers grow Ethiopian Heirloom varietals - aka coffee trees native to Ethiopia. The coffee produced in Guji is as diverse as the region it is grown.
When first poured, immediate flavor notes of blueberry and peach rings hit the palate. As the coffee cools those intense fruit-forward flavors give way to more subtle fruit notes.
The result is an ever-changing cup that is sure to please.
