This coffee comes from the Ijen Highlands in East Java. The Ijen volcanic region is home to the world's largest acidic crater lake noted for its famous sulphuric blue fires. Various smallholder farmers from Ijen collaborated to produce this extraordinary coffee.
The unique super ultra rare 168 hour long fermentation is what gives the coffee such a palate melting flavor profile. Intense fruit forward flavors engulf the palate. The notes of passion fruit, mango, and fruit punch are not at all subtle and can really be a "ah-ha" coffee for the first time drinker!
